Job Responsibilities

- Understanding electrical architecture and communication interfaces for Powertrain ECUs
- Work in dSPACE configuration desk to model the ECU interfaces and integrate with the powertrain simulation model.
- Create the electrical configuration in dSPACE configuration desk and design the electrical harness
- Diagnose dSPACE Scalexio test setup to validate the Powertrain functionalities after connecting the real ECUs in HIL system.
- Understanding Powertrain requirement documents, ECU software documents to create the system test specification
- Development of system test scripts, test execution and defect analysis
- Participate in technical reviews with North American team. 10% travel mandatory.
Skills Required
- 8-12 years Hardware In Loop (HIL) system testing of Powertrain or drivetrain software using dSPACE (only)
- Actual commissioning of dSPACE HIL system
- Experience in dSpace software tools – Control Desk, Configuration Desk
- Experience with electronics and HIL hardware
- Experience in Vector tools – CANape, CANalyzer / CANoe
- Strong Automotive domain knowledge –Powertrain/Safety systems : e.g. ABS, airbag, ESP, Powertrain etc. (at least one of the systems)
- Experience in System test automation and test script development, defect analysis
- Good understanding of ECU SW architecture and ECU functional testing
- dSPACE bench setup – Configuration Desk, Control desk, ProveTech
- HIL/Closed Loop/Open Loop testing
- VB Scripting/Python/PROVEtech
- ECU Software Architecture and function testing
- Theoretical and testing knowledge of automotive Protocols CAN, J1939, KWP, UDS

Education: Minimum Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ related
Experience: No of Years: 8 to 12 years
