This position's primary function is to ensure the accurate, timely, efficient, and compliant movement of vehicles intended for export/import all over the world. The secondary function is to assist the department with operational activities such as scheduling, pricing, discounting and reporting and to ensure compliance with required controls.
Support the order transaction processes of new truck sales for the International Sales and Service Business Unit
Act as a dealer and sales manager liaison throughout the ordering, concession, production and invoicing processes
Assist management with pricing and concession development for annual pricing schedules & additional discounting
Assist Regional Management and Regional Center in tracking sales discounting to ensure all requirements and conditions are met
Work with Corporate Trade Compliance to ensure proper processes are established to provide Certificates of Origin in an expeditious manner
Assist business unit management with sales reporting metrics and volume planning efforts
Create and maintain sales and order related documentation to ensure they meet DTNA ICS control and document retention objectives
Coordinate all transportation requirements of vehicles for designated countries
Provide all required information to US and Mexican customs agents (and others, if required) in a timely and accurate manner
Arrange for legalization/authentication of documents as required
Create and maintain the Finished Goods Inventory (FGI) report and Vessel Load Lists based on forecasts
Ensure all international DTNA logistics activities follow applicable export control regulations
Coordinate with Finance Operations the release of invoicing of vehicles according to pre-determined Incoterms to ensure timely customs clearance, shipment and revenue recognition
Develop and lead process improvement initiatives for continuous improvement
Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management from an accredited university/college with 3+ years of related experience OR Masters Degree with 1+ years experience required
- At least 1 year of group leader, project lead, or mentoring experience required.
- Fluency in written and spoken Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with US Export/Import Customs & Control Regulations & Mexican Customs Regulations is preferred.
