Job Overview:


Control, Monitor, and Report from Building Management System; and
provide back up support for Electrical Engineer



 


Requirements:


  • Co-Manage administration of the BMS including utilities, lighting,
    fire/life safety, access controls, cameras, etc.

  • Ensure the Facility Operations team is trained properly on system
    functionality for utility controls

  • Conducts meetings with vendors for projects and scope review-Prepare
    RFQs as needed

  • Coordinates and monitors design and installation activities ensuring
    compliance with standards and regulatory requirements

  • Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings
  • Provide electrical support as needed to the team
  • Interface with security, IT, and other departments to complete scope of
    assigned projects

  • Prepares basic engineering designs and work specifications
  • Reports and presents to the project teams and project committees
  • Resolves non-routine operational problems and minimizes delays
  • Responsible to manage small / sub projects under the prospective
    technology and budget consideration

  • Will perform other duties as assigned


























  • Bachelor's
    degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering or a related area. 0-2 years of
    experience.

  • Able to perform
    the essential functions of the job.

  • Experience
    administering a building management system required, Siemens Desigo is
    preferred

  • Knowledge of field instrumentation
    installation and monitoring

  • Independent
    working

  • Good
    coordination, communication, and presenting skills

  • Very confident
    with computer programs

  • Manage project budgets as approved
  • Suggest and justify capital project requests

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC (“MBV”) is a plant in Ladson, South Carolina that produces Sprinter
vans for the U.S. and Canadian market under the brands Mercedes-Benz and
Freightliner. The midsize Mercedes-Benz Metris vans are also reassembled at
this location.



 


Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC invested 500
million U.S. dollars in the construction of a new Sprinter production plant in
addition to an expansion of the previous assembly operations. In September
2018, MBV officially opened its new plant, located next to existing operations
in the North Charleston area. The MBV facility will provide up to 1,300 jobs by
the end of the decade and is expected to create at least 600 additional jobs in
the region through its suppliers.



 


More than 130,000 Sprinters have been
assembled in North Charleston and delivered to destinations in the U.S. since
2006. The U.S. is now the second largest market for Sprinter vans, after
Germany.
