Description:
Project Management:
• Drive feasibility study and deliver proposal for new project initiative of complexity up to medium level
• Create and update required project related documents such as project approval document, overall project plans, project status report, testing plan, go-live plan, lesson&learnt report, etc.
• Lead full project life cycles from requirement gathering through solution design, implementation, testing and roll-out, to ensure successful project go-live according to defined timeline, quality and budget, and engage key stakeholders from BU and IT in the whole process
• Monitor project status, identify and resolve project risks and issues
• Manage project changes and evaluate impact on project plans
• Align stakeholders’ expectations and provide proactive communications
Process Management:
• Identify and analyze improvement opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness by cooperating with cross functional teams
• Engage senior management team to prioritize changes by using well-structured facts and analytical results to support recommendations
• Lead BU and IT colleagues to implement changes based on planned timeline and budget
Ad-hoc tasks:
• Assist in improving Ops project and process management working model
• Assist in creating Ops project and process management strategy
• Assist in managing Ops strategic initiatives and updating status
• Support on project budgetary planning processes
• Other tasks assigned by management
Compliance:
• Align with relevant parties to ensure project and process management activities conform with legal/compliance requirements
Qualifications
Education:
• University degree in finance, economics, business administration or IT, master preferred
• Project management certification (PMP, Prince2,etc.) is preferred
General skills:
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Master of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio)
• Presentation skill
• Quick learner and self-starter, adaptive to fast changing environment
• Logical thinking and critical thinking
• Communication, negotiation and influencing skill
• Problem-solving and conflict management skill
• Proven ability to influence different levels of stakeholders
Experience:
• Automobile, Financial service or Banking industry background is preferred
• Experience with project management methodology and tools
• Know-how of software development life cycle
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects with the restraints of time, cost, scope, quality, etc.
