OMS BTV Project Lead

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Overall Responsible for Product release of HW and SW for the Intelligent Interior system
- Coordination with Daimler internal stakeholders like Carline, Plants, EE Klausur, Procurement, Logistics, etc for timely vehicle builds with fully functionality of the system
- Close interaction with SW development team and plan releases aligned with Carline build schedules
- Defect management : Keep track of all the issues relevant to the system, agree on a plan for rollout of HW and SW fixes in agreement with HW supplier and SW development team
- Change management : Creation and tracking of change requests for HW and SW changes and get necessary approval from related stakeholders
- Vehicle management : Ensure vehicle availability and vehicle preparedness for vehicle tests for each releases
- Test management : Conduct system test and vehicle test drives for functional validation of system before signoff
- Release management : Completion of all release and QA processes for all HW and SW components relevant to the system
- ECU Variant coding release to the production plants and other Daimler internal stakeholders
- Work with the HW supplier to fulfill HW requirements, and ensure PV/DV for the HW.
- Coordinate vehicle level EMI/EMC tests; Analyze test Results with supplier & propose solutions for improvement wherever required
 
Basic Qualification:
- Bachelors / Master in Computer Science / Embedded System / Electronics and Communication
- 12+ years of overall experience; with 8+ years in Automotive domain
 
Key Skills and Experience:
- Automotive System Engineering and Software Development experience
- Experience in Product Management, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Embedded SW development
- Experience in handling Camera based automotive systems
- Experience with Defect Management, Change Management, Test management and Release Management activities
- Report to Carlines committee and Management with regard to system-specific topics and status of roll-out features and fixes
- Has proven experience of mentoring and guiding team on technical topics for Design, Development and Rollout of Automotive systems and Issue resolution
- Experience in dealing with stakeholders from Plant and Suppliers
- Driving authorisation for test drives
- Assistance in the release of functional texts in User manual
- Has strong inter-personal skills with good communication.
- To ensure documentation of the development progress in RD systems (EPDM, DIALOG, etc)
- Generation and release of ECU Variant coding
- Experience in the role of ECU Project Lead, Project Leader , Project Component Manager.
- Usage of Vector CAN tools - CANOE, CANAPE
- Usage of Softing Tools – MONACO or Diagnostic testers
- Vehicle validation experience with online and offline trace analysis
- Good communication skills and ability to work in & contribute as a good team player

Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Electronics & Communication/Computer Science/Equivalent
