Assistant Manager - Digital Transformation

The applicant will be part of the Regional Center of Competence (RCoC) in Singapore for Digital Transformation. We are in the Region, in a big transformation phase in which high availability of IT resources, speed in the implementation of solutions, flexibility in the planning activities, innovation capabilities in the concepts and digitalization of processes are key factors of success. The applicant will instigate, coordinate, implement, measure and optimize current and future digital transformation initiatives in order to maximize the efficiencies for the teams.

Main focus will be given to automation and setup/consolidation of a data driven organisation providing required data insights to facilitate strategic decisions as well as daily operational transparency.

1. Transform

- Identify and prioritize processes to be transformed
- Consolidate, optimize and rescale existing processes in focus
- Organize requirements gathering and analysis meetings with team members, internal customers, and stakeholders.
- Recognize and understand complex processes, interdependencies and gaps and develop new approaches to solutions
Identify and implement automation opportunities
- Develop, propose and promote common solutions in the region
Implement proposed solutions for all markets in scope
Promote synergies and reuse within and across projects and platforms in order to maximize rapid yet responsible delivery
- Review the transformation impact on short cycles and perform required adjustments in a continuous improvement effort
- Reinforce an agile culture

2. Digitalize

- Identify, define and implement required data points
- Support in design of scalable data models
- Manage data sources, data ingest and data preparation processes including metadata management
- Make use of a variety of ETL and data analysis techniques to handle complex data from varying sources
- Develop, propose and implement appropriate data visualisations
- Propose extensive data analysis to facilitate and speed up decision making processes
- Develop, maintain, test, and troubleshoot defined data solutions
- Support and troubleshoots the data movement processes and the data warehouse environment.

3. Maximize Efficiencies

- Support in lean implementation
- Identify low value add elements and propose appropriate solutions
- Share and collaborate across regions
- Establish a continuous improvement approach
- Manage run costs downwards

4. Communicate

- Build-up / strengthen relationship with all stakeholders in the region, headquarter and the markets to effectively perform the necessary tasks within the function
- Explain complex processes clearly and precisely to different target groups with an emphasis on specific benefits of chosen solution approaches
- Organize forums/platforms to ensure full transparency of all transformation activities

5. Reinforce Security and Documentation Capabilities

- Ensure transparency on security standards alignment with group, company and location guidelines is given at all times
- Support regional/global teams in providing required security and compliance overviews and insights
- Perform regular ad-hoc assessments and overviews regarding documentation and security in collaboration with regional/global teams

- Degree in Business, IT or equivalent
- Domain knowledge with respect to Automotive Business - Sales and After Sales
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Very Good knowledge in Financial, Controlling and Purchasing Processes
- Knowledge in BI solutions with focus on PowerBI

- 5+ years experience within an IT organization in transformation
- Experience in automation and process optimizations
- Experience in Data Modelling and Dashboards creation
- Experience in a multi-cultural organization and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communications skills being able to convince peers and stakeholders
- Good planning and organization skills
- Customer oriented and demonstrated empathy
- Continuous improvement ability with a great sense of details
- Sound learning willingness
- Ability to inspire others and generate high level of trust and confidence
