Trucks and Buses - Drivetrain & Powertrain System Functional Testing & HiL Commissioning Sr. Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Commissioning of dSPACE HIL system for powertrain with multiple ECUs
- Create the electrical configuration in dSPACE configuration desk and design the electrical harness
- Interfacing powertrain simulation model (MATLAB /STATEFLOW/SIMULINK) with communication and electrical I/Os.
- Diagnose dSPACE Scalexio test setup to validate the Powertrain functionalities after connecting the real ECUs in HIL system
Experience:
Mandatory:
- 4-7 years’ experience in commissioning of dSpace Hardware In Loop (HIL) system for Powertrain / Drivetrain / Transmission
- Experience in dSpace software tools – Control Desk, Configuration Desk
- Experience in measurement and calibration tools – Vector CANape / CANalyzer / CANoe / ETAS INCA
- Experience in understanding ECU electrical schematic and designing wiring harnesses
- Understanding of In Vehicle Networks and ability to interpret CAN Matrix

Desired:
- Hands on experience in building wiring harnesses, load boxes, break-out boxes and working and debugging electronic components.
- Good understanding of ECU SW architecture and ECU functional testing
- Knowledge of system test automation, test script development and defect analysis,
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, VBA, CAPL etc
- Knowledge of automotive Protocols CAN, J1939, UDS

Education:
- Minimum BE / BTech in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ related disciplines
