Roles and Responsibilities

Project Management of development and series support for EE components for Mercedes Benz Trucks and Busses
Analyse and fulfil the functional requirements, legal regulations, production and the quality objectives of the program
Manage the requirements specification for components including safety requirements
Inter and Intra department Coordination for successful execution of the program
Support systems and global project teams for module strategy and next generation requirements
Documentation and release management of the component in the organization database
Coordination and support the vehicle system tests
Supplier/Procurement management
Creating a test concept and test execution for the component
Generation and release of the ECU-coding
Sample Handling (including delivery of vehicle, board, S-HIL, C-HIL, …)
Participate in Quality Audits / Gates at Daimler and Suppliers
International travel on need basis




Technical Skills

Experience in development of ECUs/Electronic components with high complexity (like Engine control units, Body controllers, ABS/ESP control units)
Automotive domain knowledge - especially in the area of automotive electronics
Model based engineering / FMEA / DRBFM methods and tools
Experience in Communication protocol development / tests - CAN and Automotive Ethernet
Familiarity with AUTOSAR, ISO26262
Inter-personal skills with good communication., German speaking skills would be an advantage
Experience working with global teams and has a good understanding of OEM/Tier-1 development models / process
Experience in system testing on different test infratructures like HiLs, Vehicles
Experience in managing teams, project acquisitions, grooming up new team members, staffing and recruitment
Configuration management tools and Quality management tools

B.E/M. Tech (full-time) from reputed institutions with Specialization in EE/EC/Mechatronics/Instrumentation (6 - 8 Years)
Certified Project Managers / Scrum Masters preferred
